Job summary

This role is part of a team with the Clinical Directorand Operational Director providing clinical and operational leadership to the ThoracicDivision. A key element of the role issetting the tone and modelling collective and compassionate leadershipbehaviours that build positive staff engagement and an inclusive culture to ensurethat our patients experience the best and the safest carewith us. Weare looking for a leader who can support teams across the Divisions to build their clinical capabilityand confidence. We are really interested, not just in your clinical excellence,but also your ability to be a visible, optimistic and compassionate leader whowill develop staff by understanding their needs and aspirations.

You do not needto be an expert in the field of Respiratory Medicine as you will be working aspart of a team of experts. You will play a key role in clinical governance andquality management so experience in these areas is important.
