Job summary

We have an exciting new opportunity which has arisen as a Registered Nurse at a Band 6 rate as part of our new way of working on the bank. You will be given the flexibility to work across multiple teams within the business unit, so one day you could be working in rapid response / community or a ward-based setting dependant on your preference and the shift you choose. We will provide you with a level of training and support to bolster your skillset to work across multiple functions if this is something you are interested in.

If you dont want to work across multiple teams and just stick to your specialist area that is fine as well!

Main duties of the job

Within this role, you will but is not limited to:

  • responsible for contributing to the holistic assessment, planning delivery and evaluation of care to patients.
  • implement, monitor and maintain high standards of care delivery at all times.
  • care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best
  • deliver our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work.

You will be an NMC/1st level registered Nurse, you will have the ability to work both independently and also as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. It is expected that you should have strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach which will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey. You will have a full UK driving license with access to a car for work purposes.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
