Site Supervisor

Are you a Site Supervisor with experience working on Thames Water across SEMD projects? Then please read on!

We have the perfect opportunity working with a well known Water and MEICA Specialist contractor in the Thames Water region. This role will require travelling to a number of sites across the Thames Water region as Site Supervisor to support subcontractors in the design stage with surveys and planning works.

Location: M25 – roaming role

Contract type: Freelance, 6 months +

Start date: End of Januar 2023

You will need to have experience of leading and supervising a team of 4-5 workers to ensure that projects proceed smoothly. Ideally candidates will have worked their way up from a tools background and will have worked within Thames Water on SEMD works.

As a Site Supervisor you will be responsible for:

  • Managing workforce
  • Reporting back to the Site Management team
  • Oversee subcontractors on site completing site surveys
  • Assisting with procurement of the job
  • Feeding plans and information into the design team
  • Once design stage is complete, supporting with the delivery of works
  • Transporting the workforce to their work areas
  • Ensuring that the site team complies with site rules and regulations while monitoring the quality of their work
  • Collaborating with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project proceed as planned
  • Motivating the team to complete projects on schedule
  • Maintaining equipment and manage paperwork
  • Requirements:

  • Experience working on SEMD projects
  • CSCS Card (Gold)
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
