We are looking for a friendly and flexibleband 3 administrator to support our busy IV Therapy team. The role will requirea dynamic approach to getting things done and the willingness to be able tosupport the IV triage nurses based in Droitwich. There is lots of interactionwith the multi-disciplinary team and services so excellent communication andenjoyment of working with people is key. The IV Therapy team works countywideto deliver intravenous therapy in patients homes and clinic settings.

Therole is Part-time 22.5 hours worked over 3 days.

Main duties of the job

  • You will be providing administration supportto our Senior IV therapy Nurses with triage of referrals to our service andwill be responsible for the coordination and delivery of an effective andefficient administrative service.
  • To create,develop and implement robust administrative processes for all aspects of theservice. Typical duties will include supporting staff, answering telephones,inputting information into electronic systems, developing spreadsheets foraudit purposes, booking patient appointments and helping to organise andsupport meetings.
  • Use ofMicrosoft word for typing letters and notes and inputting in to excelspreadsheets for any necessary reporting functions; outlook is used to manageemails. EMIS and OPATpms is used so knowledge of those or any other EPR systemsis useful, but training can be provided.
  • There is a wide range of administrative tasksthat you can get involved in and help to shape how the processes are run goingforwards to best support our clinical staff and patients.
