We are looking to appoint anenthusiastic individual who will enjoy the challenge of working onground-breaking studies in cystic fibrosis & bronchiectasis. We workclosely with the multidisciplinary specialist clinicians and clinical teams ona wide variety of studies.

The successful candidate will beworking within the Project Breathe research team. We contact and supportpatients in a variety of ways including face-to-face, by telephone andvirtually. This post would suit someone who has good organizational skills andis able to prioritize their own workload to meet deadlines.

The post holder will be based inthe new Heart Lung Research Institute (HLRI) next to Royal Papworth Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Our focus is always to provide the highest standardof care to our patients and their families. Working closely with theinvestigators and research staff, the successful candidate will have regularcontact with patients as well as helping with aspects of running a study.

The post holder will work as part of the ProjectBreathe team to maintain and ensure a clean database. Working closely withinvestigators and research staff across the UK, the post holder will beresponsible for supporting data collection from medical records and databases.They will also assist in day-to-day administrative duties related to ProjectBreathe research studies conducted at Papworth Hospital. This includesscreening, consenting and ongoing support for participants on a variety ofstudies.

There will be opportunities to undertake trainingcourses for various aspects of the role as well as on the job training.
