 As a Registered Nurse (Adult) youll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Brixton by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. There are opportunities within Substance Misuse and Early Days in Custody where you could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Within this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.

Main duties of the job

You will be a Registered Nurse (Adult), NMC qualified and will have evidence of continued professional development throughout your clinical career thus far. Having an understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, coupled with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach will enable you to succeed in this role, as well as a proactive approach to problem solving.   How will we support you? Youll receive an annual salary up to 48,000 per annum – dependent on experience. We offer a whole host of additional benefits such as: cycle to work scheme, free DBS check, free uniform, an extensive training and development structure for all employees along with an employee recognition scheme.
