A vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school are looking to appoint an SEMH Teaching Assistant starting as soon as possible.

The school are looking for a passionate, patient and dynamic individual for the role of SEMH Teaching Assistant who can support identified pupils aged 11-16 with high learning needs.

  • Full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant 
  • Post starting ASAP until July 2023 initially 
  • 8am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday
  • Delivering tailored learning support to a group of identified pupils with Social Emotional needs
  • Strong behaviour/classroom management required
  • Great rate of pay earning £1450 a month, paid weekly
  • Mainstream secondary school located north of Salford
  • Previous experience with SEMH and young people or a background in Psychology is very desirable for this role
