Accounts Payable Assistant required on a full time temporary basis covering a 6 month period needed ASAP.
Working for our highly regarded client based in the city of Dundee duties and responsibilities include:
Principal Duti es:
Data entry and submission for approval of PO exception invoices and external expense claims.
Actively monitor generic email account for submission of External expense claims. Check claim for bank details and create/amend creditors where necessary before processing by AP team.
Manage generic mailbox dealing with internal/external queries, statements, submission of PO exception invoices and notifications of changes to supplier details.
Liaise with both internal stakeholders/suppliers for invoice queries.
Ensure compliance with No PO/No Pay policy for PO exception invoices.
Administer incoming mail, dealing with hard copy invoices and other documents appropriately.
Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolution of related issues.
Additional Duties may include:
Process document variance invoices by 3 way match to goods received note and purchase order, ensuring accurate input of any data required.
Deal with more complex purchase order matching issues ensuring invoice match to correct lines and adjustment of quantities and values as appropriate.
Submit purchase order matching queries to resolution pool/requisitioner, indicating relevant mismatch issue.
