About the Role

This role offers you the chance to gain significant experience and responsibility in the finance department of this £36 million income Group.

Financial integrity is one of the key focuses of our strategic vision and the Procurement Manager will work closely with the Financial Controller, Finance Manager and Executive Director of Finance to ensure that the Group achieves outstanding results for students through sound financial strategy and practice.

The Group is looking for a motivated and pro-active individual to be part of a team of staff, ensuring that the procurement function is successfully managed. You should be suitably qualified and have a desire to lead on procurement processes for the Group.

Required Experince:

You will have experience of procurement working with public sector frameworks and leading tender processes in similar organisations. You will have experience of working within an integrated finance and procurement function in a medium or large organisation. You will also have experience in the maintenance and management of contracts registers. You will also have experience of supervising staff. You will also hold level 2 in English and maths and a relevant procurement qualification such as CIPS.

Department Info

You will be responsible for the direct line management of the procurement assistant. You will report to the Financial Controller, who will give you direction on your day to day workload and you will also work closely with Budget Holders along with members of College Management Teams.
