Our client, a well-established and respected IT Support business, is looking for an Infrastructure Project Engineer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. You might be an experienced 3rd Line Engineer who is ready to take the next step or a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer who is craving a new challenge, either way we want to hear from you! As the Infrastructure Project Engineer, you will be an integral member of a talented team of professionals, responsible for the delivery and enhancement of customer IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to ensure projects are successfully delivered on time and within budget. Your Responsibilities
- Successfully deliver technical projects in line with customer expectations
- Lead post-project handover, progress project updates, and service improvement reviews
- Provide support in resolving change management issues
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive new business opportunities and review customer infrastructure needs
- Accurately update and maintain project documentation and knowledge base, allowing effective hand overs
- Ensure time recording for project work is 95% accurate and complete
- Stay up to date with new and emerging technologies for the purpose of enhancing customer infrastructures
Your Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a senior 3rd Line or IT Project Engineer
- Familiar with VMware, Hyper V, ESX, and VSAN environments
- Experience delivering IT infrastructure projects with involvement in planning,installation, and documentation
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server environments
- Excellent working knowledge of Networking e.g., HP, Cisco
- Excellent working knowledge of Veeam, backup, Firewalls (SonicWall, Sophos), Antivirus configuration
- Good understanding and working knowledge of O365 Admin, MS O365 Suite, AD/AAD/DHCP/DNS
- Full UK driving licence
