Salary: £31,486 – £33,539.40 per year

Inclusive of £50 sleep-in rate (reaching an additional earning potential of circa £4,400+ pa

The Role:

We have full-time opportunities for a Deputy Manager to help lead our team in one of our clients fantastic children’s homes in Cowbridge. They aim to provide a homely environment where children feel safe, supported and nurtured; so if you have a passion for working with children who have not had the easiest start in life, and are motivated and passionate enough to want to make a difference, then please get in touch with us.

What we are looking for:

  • QCF/NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)
  • Previous care experience (min 2 years residential experience as a shift leader or equivalent)
  • A willing attitude and a caring and reliable nature
  • Compassion and empathy
  • Enthusiasm to promote independence and choice
  • A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation and resilience
  • Good communication skills
  • 22 years of age or older (considered essential to ensure there is an appropriate age gap between the children supported and the staff looking after them)
  • Full UK manual driving license (essential)
  • Shift Info:

    You would work an average of 171 hours per month, any hours worked over this will be paid at your hourly rate. Rota’s are given one month in advance
