Job summary
We are looking for the post of aST1 level clinician to work for 12 months at the Parkinson’s Foundation Centre of Excellence and the clinical trials unit lead by Prof. K Ray. The job will be based on clinical trials and academic studies and will support the aims of the Parkinson’s Foundation, to provide care and support for people affected by Parkinson’s and expand our knowledge of Parkinson’s disease by supporting research studies. A valid GMCis absolutely essential as is experience in clinical trials and a certificate in good clinical practice (GCP) procedures, as well a keen interest in neurology and Parkinson’s disease. Priorknowledge of working in neurology and the field of Parkinson’s (particularly non-motor aspects) is highly desirable.

The Movement disorders team has contributed substantially to research, including pivotal multicentre clinical trials, as well as many publications on local research.
