Are you a team player , highly efficient and organised and interested in providing support with those with Severe and Enduring mental health conditions? We are looking for a part-time, enthusiastic administrator to be a part of a team providing a programme of psychological support to people with a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder across Birmingham. We are looking for someone with administration qualifications, excellent communication skills who would enjoy organising the Mood on Track programme to ensure that it runs smoothly and supporting the clinical staff, senior administrator and service users with administrative tasks.

The Team Administrator role is vital for the smooth running of the team. This role is to provide administrative support part time (22.5 hrs) . Ideally this would be regular hours spread across the week and will incude working on Fridays but there is flexibility for this to be arranged between the successful post holder and their manager to suit service and personal requirements. A combination of face to face and home working is anticipated.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work closely with the senior team administrator to ensure the efficient running of the Bipolar Service and Mood on Track Programme.

Excellent communication and listening skills, organisational and problem solving skills, IT skills, accuracy, flexibility, typing, the ability to work to tight deadlines and deal with conflicting demands and work as part of the team are all essential for this job.

Tasks include telephone enquiries from service users and professionals. Entering and tracking all new referrals into our electronic management system, diary management, arranging appointments and groups, email management, spreadsheet management as well as working alongside and providing admin support to the clinical team.

Experience of working in an administrative environment and dealing with confidential and sensitive issues is required. Experience of using clinical systems such as RIO andof working in a healthcare setting would be an advantage.
