Job summary

The Training Programme Director in ACCS will support the Head of School in the Strategic Development of the School of Emergency Medicine .

Work in collaboration with relevant Heads of Schools to develop and implement a Medical Workforce Strategy which supports the recruitment and retention of ACCS / Emergency Medicine Trainees

Main duties of the job

The post holder will lead on the development of the School’s Recruitment and Retention Strategy and contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme.

The Post Holder will support the Head of School in developing an Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Policy to ensure training is delivered in a fair, equitable manner that recognises the contributions to be made by all trainees and trainers.

The post holder will be a member of the School Board.

  • Previous or current appointment as a Leader in Healthcare Education
