Security Engineer
Whitehall Resources require a Security Engineer to work with a key client on a fully remote 5 month contract.
*Please note that the successful candidate will be required to operate through an FCSA accredited umbrella company.
Security Engineer
Security Engineer with skills – Knowledge of Containers and Security. Understanding of interface the Containers to the infrastructure. Experience of Cyber Security toolsets in large scale global regulated environments. Experience of re-designing existing services to facilitate High Availability with minimal service impact and within constraints. Strong Windows/Unix/Network engineering experience from a Cyber Security perspective. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with technical teams and communicate clearly to non-technical groups. Strong understanding of AWS, Containers and Cloud Security concepts generally.
Task:
* Install BigID software (developed for containers) into Container environment specified by Designer
* Build interfaces to 3rd party tools (optional)
* Interface the Containers to the infrastructure to Servers, Filers and Databases
Skills/Experience
* Experienced in installing software within containers
* Understanding of Windows and Unix Servers, databases and network filers
* Ideally building containers in AWS
* Works well in project teams
* Ability to work effectively with SMEs
