Overview
Pertemps Recruitment, on behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, has an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Support Officer to join the Corporate Business Support team in Aylesbury. Working alongside the manager, you will play an important role in liaising with care homes and hospital teams, gathering information and making arrangements for clients.

About the role
As a Commissioning Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Progressing referrals for people coming out of hospital – liaising with the hospital team
  • Updating LAS with provision information
  • Populating contract templates to send out to the Provider for signing
  • Sourcing care for clients who are being discharged from hospital
  • Liaising with care homes to see if care is available
  • Any other duties as directed by your line manager
  • Making and taking phone calls

This is a temporary position for 3 months, though there is potential for this to be extended further. The pay rate is £14.58 per hour, and you will be working full time, 37 hours per week.
The Walton Street office is conveniently situated in the town centre (HP20 area) with great transport links including a local train station and excellent road connections to the M25, M1, M4 and M40.
