Learning Support Assistant – Northumberland The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Newcastle in search of full time Learning Support Assistants to join their team. The role is to start in Januaury 2023 and is ongoing with no current fixed end date.In order to be successful in your application, you must be confident and have some experience of supporting children to achieve their learning goals within a school setting, preferably with the secondary school age group (11-18). Requirements for this role:

  • Experience working with children/young people within the past 2 years
  • Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff and students.
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • At least two years of work history/education which can be referenced.
  • A valid DBS certificate or the willingness to apply for one.
