Exempt Accommodation Officer based in Birmingham and the rate is PAYE
This is a full time role working on a temporary contract.

The successful candidate will undertake inspections of Exempt accommodation and improve the standard of provision within Birmingham. They will be an enthusiastic candidate who possess property standard inspection experience of properties in multiple occupation. Having experience of the HHSRS inspection regime will be a distinct advantage, but is not essential if you are able to learn at pace. You will need knowledge and/or experience of the support worker role and possess strong negotiation and people skills to bring about change.
It is essential that candidates are excellent communicators both in writing and in person as the role also involves responding to complaints from elected members and citizens of Birmingham. Problem solving skills are a key requirement together with experience of achieving positive outcomes.
