BerkshireHealthcare NHS Foundation trust are currently seeking a Band 6 Registered Nursewho specialises community care for patients with learning disabilities. Thiswill be a full-time role for approx. 12 months working Monday to Friday, various shift options available with anoption for some home working too.

Main duties of the job

What you will be responsible for

Use appropriate tools to ensure that patients/ clients/communities are assessed in an accurate and effective manner

Make clinical decisions based on current policy, evidence andbest practice

Ensure that planned programmes of care/ intervention are accurate,comprehensive and comprehensible to all others involved and that reportingarrangements are adhered to.

The role will involve, but not belimited to you performing the above.

  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
  • Undertake regular mandatory training*
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
  • *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
