An exciting opportunity hadarisen for enthusiastic individuals to join our Phlebotomy Service which iscurrently expanding, our service operates 08.00 -16.00 Monday to Friday.

The Phlebotomy Serviceprovides venepuncture and Near Patient Testing for housebound patients withinour community.

We have part time vacancies available in various locations working 08.00 – 13.00 Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

You will need to be a goodteam player, with excellent organisational and communication skills and be ableto work on your own initiative and prioritise your work effectively.

The primary responsibilitiesfor the post holder would be to:

  • Collect and processvenous blood samples / various basic observations for house-bound communitypatients.
  • Conducting INR / NPTwithin Trust policy and guidelines to house-bound community patients.
  • Work autonomously andbe a car driver and owner.

The Phlebotomy Service uses anelectronic patient record system called SystmOne and experience of working onthis system would be advantageous, however the required training will beprovided to successful candidates.
