City Road Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity for a salaried GP to join our friendly, hardworking and patient focused practice in Edgbaston, Birmingham. We are a small practice with an ethos that focusses on high quality patient care with a holistic approach in improving the health needs of our local community.

We are looking for a team player with the enthusiasm to make a difference to our practice and patients with a real interest in making a difference in health inequalities.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated GP to undertake a variety of duties including surgery face to face consultations, telephone triage, duty doctor, path labs, docman, prescriptions and queries on a day to day basis.

The post-holder will be expected to undertake all normal duties, making professional and autonomous decisions and all responsibilities associated within a GP working within primary care.

There is scope for further development in terms of lead roles, specialty interests and support in progression.
