What essential skills and experiences are required?

  • Full chartered membership of relevant professional body (e.g., CIPD) or demonstrable relevant experience
  • Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent experience
  • Substantial experience in a specialist reward and benefits role
  • Successful extensive HR experience in a regulated industry, some of which will have been in line management
  • Proven strong leadership skills, with the vision and ability to establish cross-functional relationships and drive cultural/ organisational change
  • In-depth understanding of all aspects of Reward, engagement and performance management
  • Proven experience of leading, developing and embedding change within a large, complex organisation or environment
  • Comprehensive experience and skills in leading a customer service orientated organisation/business
  • Proven ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor and motivate at all levels within the organisation
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to interact and maintain credibility with people at all levels across the business and industry stakeholders
  • We would also like, but not essential:

  • Experience in a generalist HR role and a specialist reward role
