Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for Building Surveyors, specialising within Damp & Mould surveys. We currently have two positions available, one in West London and one in East London. Both pay rates are between 300 and 400 per day umbrella. Please see a further list of duties below:
- Specify, raise, and oversee work related to complaints of condensation mould.
- Undertake pre, post and quality inspections
- Provide advice and guidance to tenants and leaseholders in respect to condensation mould
- Provide recommendations on additional works/measures to eradicate condensation/mould
- Reports where there are block / property type issues that require further investigation.
- Liaise with other teams where cause is non-building related – overcrowding, energy efficiency / budgeting etc.
- Working closely with our Integrated Asset Management Contractor – moisture monitoring etc
- Verification of contractor payments with finance as and when requested.
- Consider and respond to requests for variation orders from contractors in a timely manner
- Provide monthly project progress report
- Ensure that all allocated duties are carried out in compliance with Health & Safety policies, Financial Regulations, Standing Orders, and other procedures
- Work closely and supportively with all staff in the Neighbourhood Housing Office and Asset Management team to ensure effective communication, best practice and co-operation is maintained.
