Littlebrook Hospital are currently undergoing a recruitment drive, including for this exciting post for a Physical Health Nurse (Registered General Nurse) with an interest in working with people with mental health difficulties, and a passion for promoting health and wellbeing. Patients with severe and enduring mental health problems suffer from more physical health problems and have a lower life expectancy that the general population, and the aim of this post is to undertake regular health checks of patients receiving treatment from the team, promoting health and wellbeing in addition to supporting your colleagues to improve physical health knowledge. Main duties of the job

To work as a member in an inpatients mental health setting providing physical health nursing assessments, care and treatment for adults with serious mental illness. This role also involves supporting and promoting physical well being, giving knowledge and educating patients, carers and colleagues.
