Pay rates (Band 5): Day: £16.84, Saturday/Night: £21.90, Sunday/Bank Holiday: £26.95
Pay rates (Band 6): Day: £21.80, Saturday/Night: £28.02, Sunday/Bank Holiday: £34.25

About the Trust
Rated Good in their most recent CQC report, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital-based and community services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and North East Hampshire as well as providing drug and alcohol services in Surrey and Brighton.

What youll be responsible for
- 1 Carry own caseload under supervision and undertake holistic assessments including risk of the child/adolescent/family needs, either individually or in identified complex cases jointly with another member of the CAMHS community team.
- 2 Take responsibility for maintaining accurate and timely records of all work undertaken in accordance with Trust policies and Professional body requirements.
- 3 Ensure high standards of care are provided, and that regard to dignity, individuality, self-esteem and wellbeing of individuals and their families are given. Monitored and evaluated on a continuous basis.
- 4 Promote effective liaison with all statutory and voluntary agencies concerned with CYP and mental health.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
Youll have the following qualification/experience:
A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Mental Health hospital environment within the last 3 years
Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
Undertake regular mandatory training*
Degree or equivalent level qualification in Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
Experience required
Band 5 can be newly qualified
Band 6 1-year post qualification experience of working in the community with young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their families.
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
