Job Description

A MIG Welder is required to join a large manufacturing company specialising in steel work, working on cabinets and cable storage systems, primarily for the energy and telecoms industries.

This position is a great opportunity for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established company on a temp to permanent role, with the company looking for an employee to join for the long term.

The skills required for this role include;

  • Must be an experienced MIG welder
  • Working on cabinets and cable storage systems
  • Must be able to work from engineering drawings and diagrams
  • Working with sheet steel, box section and tubing

    • This MIG Welder role will be working mornings and afternoons rotating, Monday – Friday, working 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:30pm (7:30pm finish on Fridays).

    Your rate of pay will start at £10.63 shift allowance of £32.50 per week (works out to £11.44 per hour in total).

    If your weld test isn’t fully up to scratch, they may offer a trainee rate for your first few weeks, of £10.00 per hour, while they bring you up to speed.
