The Project Management Operations Lead role is based within our Mission Systems business area.

The difference our new Project Management Operations Lead will make
As a Project Management Operations Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary, this is an exciting challenge, providing the opportunity to shape a new role. You will support the business in having a clear view on how our Project Management staff are deployed and will ensure there is a clear understanding between discipline leads and delivery teams on resource allocations, managing changes in a planned and stable manner.

Day to day, you’ll work closely with the Head of Project Management and related Discipline Managers to broker solutions to resource challenges and to facilitate the right mix of supply solutions for the long-term success of our business. To achieve this, you will be expected to have strong relationships with our Recruitment / HR functions, our strategic suppliers and with equivalent roles in the wider Babcock Group. In addition, you will be expected to work closely and collaboratively with the Operations Leads in the customer facing delivery teams.

Essential experience
* Experience in the development of resourcing tools and techniques.
* Experience of leading budgeting and forecasting demand for multiple skillsets.
* Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and resolving conflict and disputes.
* A clear focus on business outcomes and an ability to encourage others to strive for the greater good.
* Experience of leading campaigns to solve large and complex mobilisation and de-mobilisation challenges.
