Job summary

An exciting opportunity is available for an organised, confident, and system-minded professional to work in our East and North Health and Care Partnership (ENH HCP) development team as a Business Support Lead.

The role will provide professional, proactive and flexible support to the Development Director and Programme Director, the partnership’s senior groups, and preparing papers, action logs, and notes to help ensure the partnership is well-organised.

The successful candidate will be confident to work autonomously on administrative tasks, applying their initiative combined with excellent organisational and analytical skills.

Main duties of the job

The role will require managing a diverse workload efficiently and effectively to provide comprehensive, high quality support for a wide range of administrative tasks and processes.

About us

The East and North Hertfordshire Health and Care Partnership (ENH HCP) is comprised of nine partner organisations that commission and provide health, care, and wellbeing services in ENH. The partnership is one of three place-based partnerships in the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System (HWE ICS), along with the Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, and Autism Collaborative (MHLDAC).

The partnership includes the new NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB), East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, Hertfordshire County Council, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, HUC, Healthwatch Hertfordshire, Primary Care Networks, and the East of England Ambulance Service Trust. The partnership will increasingly involve other organisations, such as those in the Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Business Administration Degree/Degree or equivalent experience
  • NVQ Level III in Business & Administration or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent including English & Maths
  • Experience of producing documents, charts, tables, databases etc, by use of Microsoft IT packages, eg. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and other software as required.
  • Previous experience of working within an office environment
  • Experience of communicating and building effective relationships with staff, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify problems and use initiative and creativity in problem solving.
  • Ability to collate, analyse and report on complex data / information.
  • Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
