We are looking for professional teachers who are able to provide cover for and supplement our existing teaching team. The right candidate should be willing to teach a variety of levels and courses, such as Exam English & Business, and be confident in engaging with digital teaching tools and using different approaches.

Essential:

  • Celta or Trinity Cert TESOL

  • Near native-like English

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Ability to lesson plan and define objectives

  • Desirable:

  • A first degree

  • Experience with supporting students learning & developing learner autonomy 

  • Sound understanding of the use of technology in learning

  • The Role:

    You will be teaching groups of up to 15 students. This could be for full weeks (15 or 21 hours) or a single day (3 or 4.5 hours). Classes are Monday to Friday and could be in the morning or afternoon. You will be covering holidays and sickness and as such may be asked to teach at quite short notice so the ability to prepare lessons quickly is essential.

    If the overall number of students in the school increases, there is a chance of permanent teaching hours.

    There is an in-house course book, but you are free to supplement or follow the syllabus using your own materials. All classrooms have Smart Boards, and the course books are also in Smart Notebook format.
