An exciting new opportunity has arisn within the Aberdeenshire Physiotherapy service for a B7 Musculoskeletal physiotherapist to work within the MSK service as well as within GP practices as a First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with significant knowledge, skills and experience in the management of patients presenting with a wide range of acute, complex and chronic conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with other Primary Care Practitioners, using highly specialised clinical reasoning skills. You will be taking initial history, clinical assessment, order appropriate investigations to formulate an effective treatment plan, make differential diagnosis, onward referrals and discharges.

The role will work closely with other B7 physiotherapists and B8a Advanced Practice Physiotherapists working in Primary Care and will be supported by a B8a Advanced Practice Physiotherapist, and a Lead Physiotherapist. The successful candidates will be responsible for junior MSK Physiotherapy staff working in the area and will have close links to the rest of the physiotherapy service in the area.

Please note that applications for this post MUST have previous NHS experience either as a student of qualified practitioner. Also, all applicants must be HCPC registered and be eligible to work in the UK.
