Robert Half Cambridge are partnering with a business based in Peterborough in their search for a Payroll Manager.

This role is paying a salary up to £40,000, depending on experience. This role is fully office based and will manage a team of 5 payroll administrators.

The Role:

  • To ensure the accurate processing of monthly salaries for salaried staff, using Sage 200, obtaining payroll approval from the relevant Directors/divisional leads.
  • Ensure Payroll team prepare, produce and check weekly and monthly timesheets and payroll reports.
  • Ensure employee records are manually/electronically updated within Sage 200
  • Payroll program and holiday records and payment to all temporary workers are actioned.
  • Ensure all expense claimed paid through the payroll are duly authorized.
  • Ensure invoices to clients are produced and checked on a weekly/monthly basis and send report to Accounts Office.
  • Ensure P45s to all leavers are processed on a weekly basis
  • Manage Year End Payroll, distribute and send to Revenue electronically within deadlines set by the Revenue and ensure all systems updated at the beginning of the new payroll year for tax codes and allowances. Produce P11D’s, distribute and submit to Accounts Department for payment to the Revenue.
  • Your Profile:

  • Sage experience preferred
  • IPPM or CIPP accreditation
  • Previous Payroll processing experience
  • Firm understanding of payroll end to end processing principles
