An opportunity has arisen for experienced nurses to join us in a senior role within our progressive and forward thinking department. The candidate must have a knowledge and interest in Cardiology.
The successful applicant will work alongside senior nursing and medical staff to ensure a high standard of clinical care is delivered and that our team of enthusiastic and skilled nursing staff receive appropriate education and professional development.

Main duties of the job
To act as team leader taking responsibility for the organisation and day to day management of a team of nurses.
To effectively lead and be responsible for the ward team and clinical care carried out in a designated area in absence of and in conjunction with the Ward Manager.
To lead in designated area/s in close liaison with the Ward Manager, Matrons and the Practice Development Team to provide the highest quality of assessment and evaluated care required to support each patient in their care pathway.
