Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting Learning Mentors for our colleges to provide support to students with special education needs.

This college based in North London is looking for Learning Mentors to provide academic support to pupils aged 14-19 (i.e. assisting them academically and sometimes practically depending on the course – construction, GCSE retakes).

The students that require support from the Learning Mentors may have emotional behavioural difficulties, dyslexia or autism.

To apply for this role, it is ideal to have:

Experience in learning support, mentoring or support work with young people with learning difficulties (i.e. autism, ADHD etc)

Experience with working within an educational environment, providing academic support or supporting young adults via a support worker role or from a youth worker background.

Must Haves

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
  • Be available for part time or full time
  • Looking for long term placement
