An exciting opportunity is available for 1.0 wte Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to be part of the South Glasgow Community Paediatric SLT Team.

The Speech and Language Therapy Service delivers a service to children and young people aged 0 to 18 years, which includes individualised assessment and care aswell as targeted and population based care and supports.

We require a proactive and enthusiastic SLT preferably with post graduate clinical experience in a range of speech language and communication difference impacting children and young people.

  • You are required to be HCPC registered, hold a clinical caseload and provide quality compassionate clinical care.
  • You will be a team player ideally with previous experience in providing impact driven care to support children and their families.
  • You will have experience and good outcomes working as part of a team around the child and with partners from other agencies.
  • You will be a motivated individual who welcomes the challenges of modern health care with a focus on person centred practice, trauma informed care and realistic medicine.
  • You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and their families as well as the wider staff and multi-agency team.

As such you will receive regular quality supervision, CPD, appraisal and reflective practice to allow you to professionally grow and provide excellent care for those with communication difference in Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
