Renowned Investment Manager seeking a Head of Operational Resilience, First Line Support (Global) to join their team in London or Dublin.

 

Key Responsibilities

•            Define, own and improve the Operational Resiliency blueprint, providing expertise and building awareness and understanding of Operational Resilience across the personal and institutional businesses.

•            Support the business in their role as custodian of the Important Business Service processes, co-ordinating storage, review, and maintenance of self-assessment documentation in line with policy requirements including facilitation and maintenance of the scenario testing plan

•            Pro-active, insightful and robust risk identification, review and guidance based on internal and external insight & industry best practice

•            Partner with key stakeholder groups including Change, Transformation & Technology Support teams to ensure that our change agenda is considering Operational Resilience and the downstream impacts of change on new & existing Important Business Services

•            Through exceptional stakeholder management provide Operational Resilience related risk management support and insight to the business, helping them to fully understand their risk profile;

•            Align leadership and senior stakeholders to the Operational Resiliency Strategy, ensuring adherence to Framework

•            Support making informed resilience-related decisions within risk framework and appetite

•            Oversee all OR activities within the respective business area

Skills/ Experience Required

 

•            Advanced experience of Operational Resiliency frameworks and regulatory requirements, preferably from a Risk Oversight & / or Risk Support perspective

•            Strong detail focus, analytical and problem-solving skills

•            Excellent relationship management skills

•            Communicates with influence and is comfortable engaging at all levels of the organisation

•            Ability to lead, inspire and energise the broader team operating within global connectivity and reporting lines

•            Exhibits personal responsibility and accountability to maintain high standards by continually seeking opportunities to increase efficiency and quality of existing work processes, methods, and systems
