Our client is seeking a Credit Controller who is at the top of their game to join their successful and smart operation.

The ideal candidate will be based no more than 20 Minutes commute of Sunbury/Ashford (Surrey ) and will easily demonstrate skills and competencies within credit control, be able to work under their own initiative, as well as supervise others, and have the drive and passion to meet targets and deadlines.   • A stable work history
  • Provable and fully rounded Credit Control expedience
  • Commercially minded
  • Numerical with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in software packages such as Excel and Outlook
  • Naturally organised, proactive and positive
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • The ability to construct concise and informative reports
  • Assertive and able to manage conversations regarding aged debt which leads to the resolution of issues
  • Experience improving aged debt
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of MS Office Excel
  • The ability to balance different tasks
  • Highest levels of accuracy
  • Happy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilient and self-motivated
  • The ability to work independently
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contacting customers for payment including sending debt emails and phone calls and putting on stop when necessary, following the accounts schedule/deadlines
  • Setting up new accounts
  • Adhere to all credit control procedures
  • Processing the daily incoming payments
  • General day to day credit tasks, including customer admin
  • Dealing with complex customers working with the team using various tools available to ensure invoices are settled in a timely manner
  • Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements
  • Processing of Invoices Daily via email
  • Dealing with refund requests and appropriate allocation of refunds
  • Deal with debt collection and insolvency claims
  • Full Time role Salary £30,000 t0 £35,000
