Your responsibilities

As a competent Service Technician (m/f/d), you will provide the best service for all aspects of our weighing and feeding systems – from installation and commissioning to maintenance and repair.

  • This includes providing customers with your technical know-how at all times, advising them on all aspects of their processes and, if necessary, actively supporting implementation, especially during the start-up and test phases

  • You will also provide on-site training for users to ensure that they have a full understanding of the system

  • You will also work closely with upstream and downstream departments such as research & development, design, project management and sales, giving valuable input for further developments and supporting sales colleagues during upgrades

  • During each service assignment, you will not only ensure that things are running smoothly (again) for our customer, but also identify potential for further projects

  • Your qualifications

  • Completed training (mechatronics technician* or technician*) or a degree in engineering

  • Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, ideally with weighing and feeding systems, preferably also in process engineering and materials handling

  • Good English and enjoy business trips to customers around the globe

  • Driving license

  • Confident, trustworthy and communicative personality who can easily grasp, interpret and meet technical customer needs and works equally well independently as part of a team
