An exciting and rarely available opportunity has become available to join our team at Lookers Vehicle Solutions. Based in our Lookers Leasing business in Harrogate the Management Accountant will lead our Finance team to produce timely, accurate and valuable financial information following Group Policies to help drive the business forward and achieve key Group strategies.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with Operational Management you and your team will play a key part in the business, your duties and responsibilities will include:

· Provide financial support to all areas of the business including operational, financial and senior management as and when required

· Producing and reviewing monthly management accounts in accordance with group policies and procedures which are to be submitted in accordance with group reporting deadlines

· Attendance at monthly and quarterly business reviews

· Management and control of all financial information reporting

· Management and training of on-site accounts and administration teams

· Additional responsibilities as and when required in accordance with needs of business

What we are looking for:

  • Experience within a Leasing business would be preferred but is not essential
  • Ability to work under pressure, schedule work appropriately and show initiative
  • Can learn to work with new software quickly and efficiently, is enthusiastic, flexible and committed
  • An approachable leader with great communication and team management skills
