Due to our operational expansion, we now have an opportunity to recruit in our Stock and Quality Control team. We need a perceptive and attentive person to be responsible for the quality of our stock.

Our Stock and Quality Control department is an integral part of our warehouse operation. It is the first port of call in identifying any issues with the thousands of parts that are delivered to our warehouse every day, and the final fence on those shipping out. You’ll be making initial checks of incoming items and spotting any problems with the look and function of parts. Attention to detail, efficiency, and consistency is important here.

Once you’re fully trained, weekend working is required approximately once a month, due to rapidly growing business needs. Days in lieu will be given back the following week, if needed.

Role Responsibilities:

Quality control of processed stock, ensuring it meets company standards for resale

Use of in-house WMS software to ascertain correct stock locations

Use of bespoke internal database to aid in product accuracy checks

Providing specific product data to the Sales team such as serial numbers and firmware revisions

Liaising with other warehouse teams to resolve any queries or issues

Required Skills:

Ability to work under pressure, prioritising and multitasking

Accuracy when inputting data

Attention to detail – you’ll need to be able to follow strict operational guidelines

Organised approach to work

Methodical approach to problem solving and ability to use own initiative

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience using (WMS) warehouse management systems (Any WMS but Netsuite or Sage would be advantageous)

Previous experience using MSOffice Suite (Specifically Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel)

Previous warehousing experience within Goods In, Goods Out and Stock Control environments

Awareness of a variety of IT component parts and enthusiasm to learn new technologies

Due to our operational expansion, we now have an opportunity to recruit a Stock & Quality Control Operative in our Operations team.

Our Stock and Quality Control department is an integral part of our warehouse operation. It is the first port of call in identifying any issues with the hundreds of parts that are delivered to our warehouse every day, and the final fence on those shipping out.

We are looking for a perceptive and attentive person to be responsible for the quality of our stock. You’ll be making initial checks of incoming orders and spotting any problems with the look and function of parts. Attention to detail and consistency is paramount. Efficiency and concentration are really key: you’ll also be using our software (and checking stocks’ physical location) to check that the levels and descriptions seen by Sales and Purchasing are correct. You’ll be keeping track of our ever-changing incoming and outgoing parts by communicating with our Goods In, Testing, and Goods Out teams so we’re looking for someone down-to-earth and easy to get on with.
