Our Client is one of the most iconic and well-known leading Motorcycle manufacturers in the World. Creating modern classics and with a healthy order book, it is our privilege to now be supporting them with the recruitment of an experienced Test Engineer / Dyno Engineer to support the building, evaluation and testing of Motorcycle Engines on a permanent basis.

This is a pivotal role, supporting the test bed activity including testing, recording and analysis of data. Working closely with the Workshop Manager and Engine team, the role supports the delivery of Engine preparation and build in the development phase.

On offer to the successful candidate will be a negotiable, albeit based on relevant experience basic salary, together with a full comprehensive benefits package and bonus.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Installing and configuring engines on engine test beds.
  • Running specific engine tests and recording data.
  • Perform tailpipe emission tests and reporting data .
  • Performing Tests for evaporative emissions.
  • Preparing/Building engines for test.
  • Qualifications & Experience ideally required:

  • Should ideally possess a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), although those with lesser qualifications, but at least 3 years working as a Test Engineer on Engines will suffice.
  • You will certainly have gained this Test Engineering experience in the Automotive manufacturing sector; better still acquired such knowledge testing Motorcycle Engines.
  • Good communication skills, ability to work across a matrixed relationship environment.
  • Strong analytical skillset, able to accurately record and interpret data
  • You will be IT literate.
  • Desirable to have a motorcycle licence, but not essential..
