Our client, a leading London University, is currently looking to recruit a full-time temporary Assessment Manager, to lead the assessment and exam management for core and elective courses. The post is looking to run until the end of February 2023 in the first instance, and will be hybrid working of part office, part remote working.

This varied and fast paced position will include monitoring the assessment structure of all core and elective courses, ensuring that the assessment is compliant with the School’s Academic Regulations. You will set up assessment deadlines and communicate them to Faculty in a timely manner, along with liaising with Faculty and Subject Areas for all matters relating to Assessment, including delivering Assessment inductions to Faculty new to the School. This post will undertake examination papers preparation ensuring that the papers conform to the regulations, have been approved by the External Examiners and that all amendments have been checked and recorded and providing specialist advice to faculty.

To be considered for this role you will have worked in a similar post previously, ideally from a higher education setting or similar. Ability to manage time and work with autonomy. Excellent IT skills, including MS Office suite of products and the ability to use bespoke systems. Experience of accurately managing and manipulating large quantities of data with Excel, in a professional context.
