Job Title: Solutions Consultant

Summary:

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is a global leader in providing innovative solutions that support the payments efficiency, fraud & investigations, and financial crime compliance verticals.

As a Solutions Consultant you will be the go-to-person for a very successful sales team. Your role will be to drive top line revenue for LexisNexis Risk Solutions by working with your sales, product management, professional services, and marketing colleagues to directly support prospective and existing customers during the sales process. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated with a great sense of initiative.

As part of Global Consulting & Operations this position will support new revenue growth and existing repeating revenue by acting as a solution specialist, answering RFPs and RFIs, handling POCs, driving thought leadership and contributing to helping LexisNexis Risk Solutions commitment to continuously innovate.

As this is a hybrid role the incumbent will also be trained on and expected to fulfil professional services obligations related to solution implementations for customer project engagements.

The role will require travel to markets across EMEA.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales calls remotely or face to face in qualifying opportunities and delivering product demonstrations and presentations
  • Manage Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), remote Proof of Concept (POCs) processes
  • Train sales team in understanding RiskNarrative, and delivering excellent solution demonstrations
  • Coordinate hand over of information between the Sales teams and Professional Services Group for product creation
  • Customer project engagements and solution implementation services
  • Support the sales team in pricing customisation
  • Track on an on-going basis and communicate to the regional sales teams competitive go-to-market strategies
  • Ensure Product content, and associated materials, are kept up to date to support the EMEA sales team
  • Be responsible for acting as the lead technical specialist for the EMEA sales team, to support commercial engagements where deep technical product knowledge is required. The role is to help give prospects the confidence and understanding of how the RiskNarrative solution operates, and will interface with their internal architecture, to ensure the success of the EMEA sales team, and correspondingly the EMEA sales target
  • Responsible for being the Technical Lead where required as part of detailed sales engagements
  • Answering questions from technical stakeholders on the customer side in relation to integration to, and deployment of, the RiskNarrative solution
  • Responsible for creating process maps and other technical artefacts to help articulate complex configuration and system interactions, in order to help successfully close opportunities and support successful and accurate delivery of the RiskNarrative solution
  • Responsible for leading the presentation of the technical aspects of the RiskNarrative solution through demos and process flows to help evidence how it aligns with our customer’s requirements. This will require understanding of the RiskNarrative API (Application Programming Interface) and some basic understanding of the infrastructure, architecture, and security protocols to manage initial discussions with customers
  • Maintain Demo Pre-Production environments on behalf of the EMEA sales team, ensuring that the journey flows and rule configurations are up to date and mirror current best practise
  • Maintaining a library of technical artefacts to support sales engagements
  • Attend regional conferences to assist sales representatives in qualifying opportunities and delivering product demonstrations, presentations, and address product related questions
  • Work with marketing group to create and maintain sales collateral: slide decks, proposals, websites, PPTs, sell sheets, emails to customer, etc
  • Carry out customer win / loss analysis and interviews
  • Contribute to Thought Leadership in the form of blogs, articles, white papers
  • Travel may be up to 30% to provide in person support for field sales initiatives regionally
  • Support other Solutions Consulting activity as required

Qualifications:

  • Experience in pre-sales/solutions consulting, professional services, or sales role, working collaboratively with Sales Teams, understanding the full sales life cycle & processes
  • Proven experience gained within a Technology and/or Data focused organization and solution implementation experience
  • University or bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • MS Office expertise, including strong PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in customer-facing contexts. Ability to convey technical subject matters in simple business friendly terms
  • Highly motivated self-starter, naturally pro-active with great sense of initiative

Desirable:

  • Public speaking or public presentation experience
  • Financial Crime and Compliance industry experience
  • Language skills – EMEA
