Axcis are recruiting for unqualified teaching assistants to support children with special educational needs.As a teaching assistant you will be working closely with children who require additional support to thrive. This could be on a 1:1 basis or providing whole class support. Teaching assistants provide both basic academic support and support the social and emotional wellbeing of children in the classroom and around school. Axcis works with many schools across Halton, both mainstream settings and special schools. We work with nursery and early years, primary, secondary and post 16 schools and so we can offer our candidates a range of roles to suit their skills.Teaching assistants usually work between 8:30am – 3:30pm, and pay ranges from around £75 per day to £90 per day.Axcis are keen to accept applications from anyone with the drive and passion to work supporting children with special needs. Some previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults is advantageous however classroom experience is not necessary.INDJOBS
