DTRM Teacher – Camden, London

Protocol Education are actively looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Design Technology Teacher for a fantastic mixed secondary school based in Camden.

You must have at least 1-year teaching experience and you will be expected to teach across the curriculum and should be a strong Teacher of Resistant Materials and Product Design with the opportunity to teach up to KS5.

The Design Technology department consists of a dynamic team where all staff take part in extra-curricular activities. The school would suit someone who wishes to contribute to a collaborative department and fit in with the team ethos. The school performs well academically across all subjects and the Design Technology department benefits from state-of the-art facilities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced Design and Technology teacher with great subject knowledge
  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS
  • Have experience of teaching the subject in a previous role
  • Have an updated CV
  • Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
