As a CI&E Engineer Warranty & Aftersales you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary Working closely with the CI&E and Projects Departments, the engineer provides warranty and aftersales support to our client’s vessels both remotely from the office base, and as required through on-board attendance during construction, in service and dry-docking contracts.

Day to day, you’ll Monitor incoming enquiries through the Warranty and AfterSales inboxes. Support the responsible Project, Warranty and AfterSales Engineers by investigating CI&E issues and providing trouble shooting advice to internal/external clients. Assist with non CI&E correspondence internally within the department and externally with clients.

Essential experience

  • Engineering background essential, preferably marine.
  • Experience with PLC based Control Systems and programming.
  • Systematic, logical and methodical approach.
  • Clear and confident communicator.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • IT capable.
  • Able to work alone or as part of a multi-discipline team.
  • Fluency in the English language (verbal & written).
  • Willing to travel at short notice.
  • Willing to sail with a vessel for short periods as required.
