What’s the opportunity?

We are recruiting for an Internal Communications Manager! We are looking for a creative and meticulous individual to collaborate closely with the Communications Team and key business stakeholders to produce and implement high quality, effective employee-focused communications.

Reporting to the Head of Group Communications you will focus mainly on communication development, planning and delivery. You will partner with Senior Leaders in key areas of the Group to help them engage with their teams and their own communication campaigns.

Key responsibilities of our Internal Communications Manager:

  • To work closely with business leaders in various functions to understand internal comms requirements scheduling effective releases aligned to key delivery events owning communication strategies and plans for those stakeholders.
  • Support the Internal Communications Team to create and deliver a communication strategy and plan, and produce content that aligns with and supports the delivery of the wider business strategy.
  • Support large-scale projects and change programmes that are scheduled to impact on all PFG colleagues.
  • Work in partnership with Head of Communications and Snr BPs on selected sensitive or high profile confidential work which can impact employees, including crisis communications in line with business continuity plans.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving colleague engagement through communication.

Skills & Experience you will have:

  • Excellent creativity and attention to detail in written communication skills that ensure that key messages are clear, easy to understand and presented in an accessible and engaging way.
  • Creative skills with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and ability to create images, intranet banners and other graphic design elements (desirable).
  • Experienced with MS excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Experienced in the design and delivery of digital communications.
  • Demonstratable experience in an Internal Communications role.

Desirable, not essential:

  • Working knowledge of the key software within the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator and Photoshop for digital asset creation and photo editing, InDesign for document creation and print media.
