We are currently looking for a full time teaching assistant to work in a lovely primary school located in Southwark. The successful educator will be required to work Monday – Friday, the working hours are 8:30-15:30. The teaching assistant is required in a KS1 class, to support the whole class and also do some 1-1 work with a child with Autism. Duties: Preparing classrooms and instructional materials for lessons and events Experience working with SEN children (personal or professional) Assisting teachers with correcting work and recording performance Helping teachers with the planning of learning activities, creating appropriate materials Supporting and encouraging students in general Providing tutoring, which may be one to one or in small groups Creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
