We are looking for 2 Systems Development Support Officers to join our innovative Wakefield Council Children & Young People Services.

When you work with us, you’ll help to further develop key systems to support improved outcomes for children and young people.

What will be expected from me?

You will work as part of a Team to support the development of custom forms and new integrated tools to support businesses processes, improving case recording and maximising functionality. You will also provide support and advise on system issues, log and track support calls and identify and implement solutions whilst delivering a high level of customer service to your colleagues.

What I might be doing?

  • You will provide application support, analysing and fixing issues and escalating queries where necessary
  • You will complete a range of system administration tasks including creating and maintaining user accounts, defining securing settings and data cleansing
  • You will support in the development of new custom forms and workflows and work on configuration changes to help colleagues improve case recording and increase system functionality
  • You will support the planning and implementation of changes to the system and communicate with colleagues regarding changes.

  • Essential requirements:

  • Appropriate level 4 qualification
  • Good understanding of customer service
  • Competent and proficient knowledge of MS Office.
