Graduate TA Bachelor’s Degree Supporting children up to KS2 Classroom and 1:1 support Contract Type: Long-term Full-time Potential permanent contract offer after 1-year Salary: Competitive Salary (Starting at £75 to £90 per day) Location: Newham, East London Start Date: ASAP Immediate Start Hays Education are currently seeking graduates who are looking to work as a Teaching Assistant. This role is currently available at an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Primary school situated in Newham, working on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday). The role is open to graduates of any discipline. This opportunity is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching within a Primary school, East London. As a Teaching Assistant you will be offering students and staff support which could be some or all of the following areas – 1:1 classroom support, SEN support, offering general classroom assistance and exam invigilation. Full support and training will be provided by the school, Hays Education will require the successful applicants to complete a safeguarding course through Hays (free qualification). Starting off as a Teaching Assistant, will provide graduates with invaluable skills and experience necessary to become successful teachers and will also support securing a position on an upcoming teacher training programme.
