Planning Scheduler Salary:£. Benefits: Free car parking onsite Location: Hull Edwards& Pearce are looking to recruit an experienced Planning Scheduler for our client, an international food manufacturer, based in Hull. This is a temporary role with an expected duration of 6 months. The Planning Scheduler will be responsible for the overseeing of a streamlined and efficient supply process, working to the known constraints of manpower and planned downtime. THE ROLE: The Planning Scheduler will be responsible for: Supplying daily production plans and update as necessary in order to contribute to achieving the required service levels. Highlight and communicate bottlenecks in supply and other arising issues involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring a continuous supply of stock. Plan and challenge forecast accuracy for a short to medium horizon, setting required stock levels based on forecast and sales data. Maintain accurate master data in SAP. THE CANDIDATE: The successful Planning Scheduler will have the following attributes: Food planning background working in a fast paced and adaptable environment, utilising your initiative and experience to provide effective day to day practise with little supervision. Decisive demeanour with the ability to comfortably step into face-to-face meetings when required. Knowledge of manufacturing requirements planning processes, practises and systems. An excellent communicator, who knows when it is necessary to escalate issues to relevant departments to have resolutions found in a timely manner. Knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs, utilising these in daily manufacturing processes to assure quality deliverables.
